As we look to the past to reclaim the future
*EVERYONE IS CHILLIN' WHEN A LETTER ARRIVES IT READS THUSLY:
Dear Dean and to those who it may concern,
The hunt, is going well. Or as well as a hunt can go, we found the spirit and we found how to kill it. But that's where the good-news ends. It's a thing called a memory shade (yeah I've never head of them either) and it lives by taking memories from people. And then the only way to kill it is to use the most prominent death memory it took from you. In this case, the most prominent death memory it has is how I defeated Lucifer. This means to defeat it I have to say yes to this phantom and then jump back into the hole.
I have to go back to hell. And I have to stay there until the memory dies there. I don't know how long this will take but I have to do it. Because the longer it lives the closer and closer it can become to being a copy of Lucifer itself.
Dean, I know I told you this before but I want you to find some one you love, and stay with them. I don't want this life for you and I know that you're growing tired of it too. I just want you to be happy and because I can't be there for you, I need to know that you are in safe hands. I don't care who it is, but I want it to be some one you care for and could even come to love over the years. You don't have to love them yet, you just have to be able to get there.
Jess, I love you. You're brilliant to me. And as soon as I get out I'll send you letters and pictures and I will come back to you. Be happy while I'm gone yeah? Don't fret, I escaped the shackles of hell once I can do it again. I don't doubt that. And I know that you're love for me will press me on to do everything I can to get out of there.
My family, thank you for being there for me. With out you I don't know if I would have had the strength to go through everything I did this year and more. It's been awhile since I've had that sort of rock. And I love you all for it.
So....
I guess that's it.
I'll see you all later. Hell, it might even be sooner than you think.
