And I didn't realize there was much hate out there for Donna, I feel like almost everywhere I've seen only love for her...(I saw like one person on a forum say they didn't like CT, but otherwise)...Rose on the other hand...

Yeah, I've seen lots of companion hate too...Martha definitely! But from what I've seen online and IRL at least, Donna is the most universally popular companion...(like both of my RL friends who like DW dislike Rose...:( But love Donna!). Then again, I haven't been in fandom long, maybe I've just been lucky...

I really like Martha. She was the shyest of the companions, but she really matured and at the end she was such a BAMF. And her whole unrequited-feelings plotline made me care about her so much, and then she just handled it so well at the end. <3

Also I feel like I've been in touch with fandom misogyny and I saw zero hate for Donna. She seemed like the one companion everyone liked. But I guess there are more thing on heaven and earth, eh?
