Happy St. Patty's Day!
I hope you all remembered to return the
Leprechaun gold you "borrowed" this holiday. I'd hate to come back here and hear tales the likes of which only
Jennifer Aniston could beat.
That said, here's the news:
I'm combining the Friday post and the Tuesday post into a Monday post tonight to give a little more lead time for this week's contest participants and to drum up some new interest for the contest. Unfortunately, we've have had two participants have to withdraw due to extenuating circumstances. Because of this, their prompts have been added back into the list, and all remaining entries have been reshuffled.
This is now the "official" contest claims prompt, the old one is closed.
If you decide you want to join in the fun, you will comment on this post. In the comment, you will give me two numbers from the list below, and a single letter, also from the list below. Example:
I'll take 13, 25, and B, please.
Assuming you've read the
RULES and comment accordingly I'll respond to your post with the characters and object those numbers and letter correspond to. Example:
13) John Winchester, 25) Ruby, B) Leather Jacket (These are not necessarily the actual items/characters assigned to these numbers.)
You get one shot per week, if you don't like what you are given, you have to wait 7 days before turning it in for something new. I am maintaining a database with assignments and due dates.
Due Dates? Yes. I will also assign you a due date, on a Thursday (of course) starting March 6th (Thursday after next) and going through the rest of that month. If you can't make the date I've assigned for some reason, let me know ahead of time and we will move your due date out. However, if you just plain miss the mark, your propmt will be recycled so someone else can have the numbers/letters you were assigned. You won't be disqualified from the contest, but you'll need to submit a new request in order to play.
Your fic/graphic/vid MUST contain all three assigned items/people in order to qualify.
Written pieces should be at least drabble-length and try to avoid any mulit-chaptered monstrosities - we only have a month here. Vids should probably be longer than a minute, less than ten, and if you are doing an icon set, you must include at least one icon with ALL three people/items in it - ditto graphics.
Posting will occur regularly during the month of March. During the first week of April, I will compile all the entries into a mega LJ poll for voting. After a week of voting, the winner will be announced.
There were 15 openings, seven remain.
The really important information - The winner will receive:
A personalized Hunters Kit (you provide photo).
A winner's icon for your personal use, and a badge you can post on your bio.
Bragging rights.
If you have any questions, let me know!

dark_roast And that's kinda lonley... Would you like to be next? C'mon, Deal or no Deal? Choose some numbers! I'm only HALF as annoying as Howie Mandel, I have hair, and the banker NEVER wins - we do! Drabbles, ficlets, angst and shmoop! We love it all!
