OK, so I've been obsessively re-watching the first season of Alias (Sydney Bristow is SUCH A BAD ASS) and it put me in the mood to read about Jared and Jensen as secret agents/spies/assassins/WHATEVER.

Here are some of my favorites in this genre:

In Harm's Way by gatorgrrrl --(Jared/Jensen, NC-17, 85,000 words) -- Jared Padalecki is living a quiet life in San Antonio until one day he is snatched off the street by two men. Enter Tom Delaney, CIA spy. Only that's not his real name. His real name is Jensen Ackles, and he needs Jared's help. Jensen and his team have been tracking a man named Alain Laurent, a terrorist disguised as a legitimate businessman. Only, they haven't been able to get close enough to him to gather any useful intelligence. They know that Laurent and his partner, Rafiq Abdul-Aziz, are planning something big -- and possibly explosive. They just don't know what and they don't know when. But they know that time is running out. That's where Jared comes in.

This story totally sucked me in. It's exciting and involved, with just a dash of secret romance too.

It’s A Steal by pheebs1 -- (Jared/Jensen, implied Jensen/Jeff, NC-17, 20,250 words) -- Jared gets pulled into Jensen’s catburgling ring.

I love how this fic is full of tension -- sexual tension, will they get caught tension, who is lying tension -- SO GOOD.

On Your Mark by veronamay -- (Jated/Jensen, NC-17, 24,976 words) -- Jared is a high-priced assassin working for an underground agency called Admin. When he starts shadowing his latest mark, he gets caught up in a situation beyond his control, and it's up to him to keep the man he's been paid to kill out of the line of fire.

Mmmmmm, I love this fic so much. It's sexy, fun, interesting, and absolutely keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Someone you might have been by fleshflutter -- (Jared/Jensen, NC-17) -- Jared is a secret agent and Jensen is his handler.

This story is twisty, sexy, interesting and unexpected. It's long, but worth the time. Read it!
