The bond of brothers

Whether Wincest is what appeals to you or you just love the close relationship of Sam and Dean that the show (canon) provides for us, here are several that focus on that particular and special aspect that make them who they are and why we love them so. Enjoy these!

There Is No Such Place by ygrawn (Sam and Dean, gen)
There are days when even Dean hates their itinerant lifestyle.
So rich in the way it's told. If only we could catch a glimpse...it might go something like this.

Till Sunbeams Find You by eloise_bright (Sam and Dean; mention of John, PG13, gen)
This takes a closer look into family ties and just how deep they run. Great story.

The Night Is Somehow Smaller by luzdeestrellas (Dean and Sam, PG)
Now, all he wants is an open road to somewhere better, following nothing but Dean's smile and the way he says Sam's name, necessary as salt lines and a shining thread to home.
The summary says it all. Wonderfully written.

Bleachers by rivers_bend (Sam/Dean, Adult, Sam is 16)
Sam ran easy as breathing, miles of skin tanned from three weeks in running shorts in the unseasonably sunny spring weather.
The pure attraction in this is breathtaking and intense. Sam running and sweaty, working Dean up....it's mind boggling.

Last Outpost Of All That Is by eighth_horizon (Sam/Dean, NC-17)
The world is over, and it’s a Winchester’s lot in life to cope with anything - no matter what.
Truly inspiring. Among the most beautiful examples of love and learning how to live all over again in the Winchester's world.

Inheritance (Descent and Distribution) by apreludetoanend (Sam and Dean, gen)
This is a story about Dean's middle name.
I come back to this story every so often because it's such a unique and powerful piece. I love the differences in Sam and Dean's POV's which still ultimately always lead them to the same place. A must read.
