How much do I love that you used that painting on the background? SO. MUCH!!! :D I really like that 'puzzle pieces' effect you used too, with the thick black borders I mean. Did you have to change Adam's face much to merge it with Dean's or were you able to use it as it was? Also, Michael as the character for Devil, was it your choice and what gave you the idea?
I only changed the coloring a little for Adam's face and then carefully sized it to the right size to fit with Dean's, the rest was just having a careful eye on where to make the transitions between the two to make it look as smoothly as possible. Michael as a Devil prompt was given out by the mods. They actually had a big discussion about it when I handed in the card... The mod who decided on the prompt argued that the Devil was often not represented by an actual Devil but rather by a pagan god or another being of spiritual power and high standing. since Michael is not the happy go lucky type in this fandom, she thought he would fit the bill well. I just went with it because I wanted to make a Michael card ;)
Really? Fascinating! I've never compared Dean and Adam's faces side by side, but they seem to have such different facial proportions one would imagine it would take a lot of adjustments to get them merged like on the card here! What's really curious, I don't know if it's just me or what, but Adam actually looks prettier than Dean side by side like this.. How is that possible?! :D
Adam has a smaller jaw and more boyish features. so to have his mouth and nose at the same level as Dean's, his shot is actually in a bigger resolution... resulting in Adam's eye being bigger than Dean's. Eyes are extremely important in a face, and big eyes equal beauty. ... other than that. it was an extraordinarily pretty Adam shot ;) ... and the mouth and nose are a little more Dean than Adam all in all.
Oh man, that IS an extraordinarily cute shot! Ahh, yes the bigger eye certainly explains a big a part of why Adam would appear cuter and the overall more boyish proportions of his face, too. I've never noticed these things about his face before, actually! (I'm all geeked up now thinking about that classic 'cute factor' theory you see in psychology books, makes me want to look in depth into who is cuter by the cute factor rules and why :))
