How awesome! I love how you worked in Dean's temporary-death experience, and especially the moemnt when Sam realized that Dean was exactly what the sirens wanted for dinner. Sam's concern for Dean was palpable. The brotherly banter and bickering was spot-on, too. And the references to Odysseus were awesome. Thank you for writing this for me!

You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I dithered between Siren and Troll when I first got the prompts. But beyond the fact that Dean would be appalled that they can make beer go bad and a scene I can picture insanely well of Dean trying to get Sam to go out on a bridge and act like a goat, I couldn't actually come up with a troll story. *g*

Of all the reading I was forced to do in high school, the Odyssey was one of the few that I actually enjoyed and read later for pleasure, so it was fun to be able to work a few things I remembered in with a lot of stuff I learned from Wikipedia. *g*

Getting to write about Sam worrying about Dean? Always a bonus in my book!

Thanks! I had a lot of fun (and a little panic) writing, so that's always good to hear.

You really captured the dynamics of the brothers early Season 2: Dean struggling with his grief, Sam not knowing how to help. And that ending was so poignant. Things aren't that much better and poor Sam wishes his dad were around-whether for Dean's sake or his own, it doesn't matter. Oh, boys...*smishes them both*

Beautifully written!

Thank you. JA and JP make it so easy to see the care and concern the brothers have for each other that some scenes and emotions are just effortless to write.

Thanks! It was a fun to write (tormenting the boys is always a good thing. And making Dean drive a Volvo? *snicker* Almost as good as watching drive a mini-van.)
