Oh I love this! What a great early hunt. Loved the case itself too- how cool! And early powers-Sam Always makes me super happy, yay! Really well done and a fun read.

Love this! Young Winchesters, Powers!Sam doing the impossible to save Dean, and a ghost pterosaur! And the last line was killer. Now I’m wondering just how early Sam’s powers manifested ...

Oh, I adore this. <3333 I love the way Sam's burgeoning powers are woven into the story, and his insistence on PTEROSAUR over dinosaur, the way they disambiguate it from the Ozark Howlers (who just howl!!! omg <333) But what I love most is the loving detail to the action of this, from their initial attempt to extract the bones so as to start their fire elsewhere, and then...well, that plan going south. That attention to the mechanics of this ridiculous job they have is one of my favorite things, and it comes out so well in this fic. I loved reading this!!

What a tasty combo of case fic, cryptid, and complicated family dynamics, with a side of Sam powers! Great touch, that this was the impetus for his eventual chase towards college. Good stuff here!
