Oh this was fantastic!! What a beautiful evolution for Sam and his powers. Such visually lush details too. Really well done <3

Wow!

(Note to mods--nice work putting yesterday's story and this one back-to-back!)

Perhaps beside the point (but is it, really?), but I love that Sam has a dog now. And the garden! With all its plants and their particularities, from type to watering cycle. The image of it all evokes such splendor. I love Dean and Rowena sliding in and our of the narrative, the whisper of Hell's mechanics and the notion of built, Frankenstein spells. And Sam, having yearned for so long to be free, to be only himself (normal, boring Sam)--finally finding that through his own innate magic. Just gorgeous. <333 Thank you for this!

This is lovely-beautifully written, and a powerful examination of Sam’s relationship to Rowena and acceptance of his power. Good job!

Gifter, this is BEAUTIFUL. I love how dense and living it is, much like Sam's garden, and the sense of ongoing learning, both in the growth of Sam's power and in just settling into who he is, realizing that it doesn't have to be all or nothing, that he can be a Winchester, Dean's brother in the bunker, and also himself and also Rowena's ally and collaborator ( ... )
