Oh man, I saw this in my inbox and I was like "I will save this for after I finish working" and opened it up in a tab and immediately did not save it for after I'd finished working, lol. THE ANTICIPATION WAS TOO MUCH.

I love this! It's definitely the kind of fic where you get to the end and you end up pining for a part 2. But that's part of it, isn't it--the not knowing if the nightmares will go away, or if anything will be okay. I love being stuck in that not-knowing, because that feeling is so much a part of the power of nightmares and the ways they are so unsettling.

And Jody in her triangulation with Sam and Dean here is just wonderful. <33333 Thank you for writing this!

Eeeeee!!!

First, I have to echo Kalliel before me, because I was in the middle of a project when I saw the alert, so I opened to tab to read as soon as I was done and then... didn't wait. XD

This was LOVELY!! I love the idea that poor Dean is struggling, and in very typical Dean fashion, not telling anyone about it until Jody managed to wiggle it out of him. I love the image of a very, very sleep-deprived Dean just auto-piloting his way into a VAMP NEST (!!!) and getting hurt, and getting saved by Jody. <3

I loved how everything wasn't Perfectly Okay or solved at the end, but there's hope, and great feels with Jody's relationship with the boys, and Dean finally relaxing and letting himself properly sleep! <333 (Also, only getting 1-2 hours of sleep for a while on end is a big yikes - been there, done that myself and it's *really* bad.)

I love this! Jody's like I'm gonna give you a beer but I'm also gonna give you my mom-voice. So nice for her to acknowledge what we all know, that they're family.

And the idea that maybe not keeping your problems a secret and talking to your brother about them instead might actually help - how many times do our boys have to learn this lesson?
