You have written Dean's guilt and what it is doing to his and Sam's relationship so perfectly that it physically hurt to read...Sam's POV was exactly right, understanding what was going on with Dean but not able to tell him how it was hurting them because Dean can't hear through his guilty single-minded focus to fix Sam...and Jack was also perfectly written, the same innocence and eagerness that he had last season...
Honestly, as it looked like I was 2/3 through the story and still no sign of a breakthrough between the brothers, I was feeling really anxious about whether this was going to leave with an unsatisfying 'this keeps going bad' ending, but you pulled off a subtle but extremely satisfying Winchester-style reconnection and the hint of a new chapter for Sam--for both of them.
I would love to read what happens next!!!
...Gotta gush one more time of how you completely captured how Dean would react in this situation. (It would be awesome if show went like this...it won't, but it would!)
