What fascinating lore! I love the idea of Dean getting eaten by a tree, and the sap banter and jokes that I'm sure Sam will throw his way.

Thank you for sharing! Take care :)

I enjoyed the vibe of this very much, and the easy way what seemed like the end of a routine hunt crawled seamlessly into a sudden new chapter with the devil's snare. That moment of being thrust back into danger unexpectedly was so effective. Thank you for this!

Oh, such an effective shift from the end of a hunt into the new and present danger! Loved it! Also, Dean being eaten by a tree, very clever! The lore in this is fascinating, and I really loved the feel of the whole fic. Nicely done :D

This was a very nice little case fic with an interesting monster, loved Dean's POV of the experience of being (almost) eaten by a tree (!!)

It took me forever to finally get a chance to read this, and oh gosh, was it so worth the wait!! :D I loved this story!!

I really liked how the locals created their own reasons for what was going on. A curse of a dying man is as good as anything else to a normal person. But our guys know better. It has to be a ghost right? :) Hee! Guess again guys!!

And Dean's snarkiness, whether vocal or in his thoughts, shines so clearly in this story. "...and he would be damned if the thing that finally got him was a man-eating tree." LOL Gotta love that guy! :D

I adore the scene where Dean was fighting back. <3 It will take a whole lot more than a man-eating tree to take that guy down!

Thank you so much for this fantastic story!! I really do love it!!
