Over the years, Dean’s gotten real good at learning how to miss things. His leg’s just the latest entry on a long, messy list.

The missing leg was a surprise I didn't see coming. This is all so them, it's heartrending to know that they are still going at it this way in the future. Nice Dean POV and the thoughts in his head about Sam's silences and anger. So very hurty.

This is so wonderful; I love the atmospheric rain, Sam's pained reticence, and the barbed nature of what should be these innocuous grindylow. And Dean's narration here is so very him. Thank you for sharing this!
