Wow, I absolutely love this! I always appreciate fics from this portion of canon that validate Sam's anger and focus on his recovery from Gadreel, so this is such a treat! I love how Sam basically gets adopted by this family, and the community too. I also really like that you didn't have Sam and Dean at the end. I don't think it would have been earned yet, and I like that you left it open-ended, with room for reconciliation in the future. Anyway I love this lots ❤

I am a sucker for any fic involving the Trials, especially them being completed. So this was super-amazing! I liked the concept of the Trials energy still being inside of him and Gadreel was keeping it at bay.It was nice to see something that acknowledged just how horrific it was to have an angel put in you against your will. I liked the family adopting Sam into their life, and both parties finding some sort of healing because of it. It's nice to see a fic where regular people are a force for good, however small. It's very uplifting. :)

I love how this fic validates Sam's POV about what Dean did to him, and gives him a chance to set boundaries, but still leaves open the possibility of reconciliation between them.

Such a powerful fic! I think it addressed a lot of Sam POV regarding this season, and I loved your OCs too and how much they loved Sam and wanted to care for him. Seeing Sam with baby Kaylyn was wonderful!
