AHHHH!!!! First post! And it's wonderful. :D

I love your Claire, anon. Her determination, her inner monologue, her sense of injustice, using her delinquent-teen skills for hunting purposes, following the letter of Jody's rules while breaking them anyway -- you just captured her so well. Dean and Sam's reactions to her hunting felt very them as well, and Dean trying to protect her from the truth (and that not working at all) rang so true. And her encounter with Lucifer felt genuinely tense and scary -- I was so relieved when Cas managed to take control, and I'd like to believe he could break out of his apathy if Claire was in danger.

I really appreciate the ending, as well. She might have got in over her head this time, but she's a capable girl, and it's wonderful to imagine her pulling a Buffy and studying while kicking ghostly ass. ;)

Ahh, I loved this--such joy in reading fanfic! This was quite cleverly put together, a wonderful (horrifying) surprise as Claire discovers a new angel has taken over her dad's body. You touched on some of the most sad and beautiful aspects of Claire's tragic life--this is a girl who has now seen multiple angels take over her long-gone dad's body and mistreat her, and she's had to find her way completely on her own.

I love the little details about her skills as a delinquent, Jody's rules about feet on the bed, Lucy's "Ah, so you've heard of me?" :-) Great characterization all around, but especially the ever-good-value Lucifer.

Wonderful job, author! And a great kick-off to the best exchange around! YASSS.

Oh, Claire. I do love her. :) Excellent stuff! She *would* go haring off after Castiel when Dean was so terribly, *terribly* bad at being all...casual. Heh.

And Castiel *would* fight for her.

Oh I totally love this - awesome voices, great fic. I think you nailed Claire from beginning to end and I love her determination to "hunt smart", and her whole encounter with Lustiel was appropriately scary! :D So many great little details in her (like all the little lines about life with Jody - the money, the rules, etc).

This was so good! I liked seeing how Casifer affected Claire, and how she was doing her best to hunt smart, to be good for Jody, and how it was tough, but she was handling it. And at the end, with her going off to the most haunted college to get in her learning and hone her hunting skills? Perfect.
