That's the final story posting for Summergen for this year! It's been an incredible summer of fic and I want to thank all of you for making my last year as summergen mod such a great adventure.
If you submitted your story before the deadline and have not received one in return, please let the mods know asap. I don't think anyone got left out, but we all make mistakes sometimes. We'll do our best to fix it if it's happened.
I will post the master list tomorrow with the big reveal of who wrote what. But before I do, I want to ask you all one last time to please leave a note of thanks on the story that was written for you. I know many of you already have.
On the subject of comments, there are plenty of Summergen recs out there, but here's a short list of fics that could do with a bit more love. Some of them are the most recent posts, which maybe you haven't seen yet. But a few are from early in posting and you know, every one of them deserves more appreciation:
I Found Him Not Whiplash (and we all end up alone) This Isn't Where We Crash and Burn Bloody Murder The Only Cure for Grief Once Upon A ... WTF?? How Crazy This Life Feels Stronger Than Bone Nessun Dorma Right Trail, Wrong Way Next steps
Tomorrow, when the reveal is posted, all stories are released back to their original authors. You can repost as you please.
As soon as I can manage it after that (most likely this weekend), I will post all of this year's prompts and open the free-for-all. The free-for-all is open to anyone and there are no signups and very few rules. You just browse through the prompts, pick one or more that takes your fancy and write, draw or otherwise create. Then post in the community in the same way as you would post a fanwork announcement anywhere else. The only restriction is your offering must be gen. The free-for-all begins when the prompt list is posted and ends at Christmas.
Once again, thank you all for a marvelous summer of fic!
