Awesome!! I've always wanted some more backstory on Uriel and Lucifer! This was a great read!

Thanks! Uriel isn't a character it would occur to me to write about, but the bible story came into my head and I just had to! It suits them both so well.

Very intriguing picture of how Uriel fell and nice imagery. Nothing scarier than someone who believes they are righteous. Which is why as much as I love Crowley, he will never be as scary or as dangerous as Lucifer was.

Yes, I agree about Crowley. Much as I enjoy Mark Sheppard, he's just too, well, self aware. He knows he's a bad boy. Lucifer (and Sam) can be terrifying because they think they're right. Uriel, I think, knew damn well he was breaking the rules, and made that choice: he was scary.

Thank you for the prompt! It's not a story I would have written otherwise and I enjoyed delving into the angelic dark side :)

He's not my favourite character, but I always wondered how he went from self-righteous prdick to Lucifer's lieutenant in just a few eps. It was fun speculating.

You know, I've always wondered what would induce angels to go against heaven like they did. Uriel was a piece of work in canon and you've delved into his mind and reasoning nicely. Kudos!

Thank you!

It was an interesting prompt to work with. I always thought Uriel's conversion happened a bit fast...
