Oh, this is a fabulous AU. Of course, I hated every minute of it, Dean isolated and misunderstood even with both his parents alive, Sam feeling like a freak outsider at Stanford even so, and Mary and John divorced because, of course, you can't be a hunter and maintain normal relationships, no matter how hard you try.

God. This was gut-wrenching, and poor Sammy, all by himself at Stanford and maybe seeing things and moving stuff with his mind and no idea why it was all happening and alienating the one girl who loved him...

Augh! *cries*

In short, awesome job, author. Kudos to you! I'm dying to know what happens next in this world you created!

This is excellent - great re-imagining of their origin story, and I love the way you've kept Dean's need to save the world and his brother so marvelously intact...

This is fantastic. I absolutely adore pilot AUs - envisioning ways everything could have gone differently, and what would still be the same, and this is just super and completely believable. The end is so heart-wrenching, imagining Sam as just one of the rest of the special children, not knowing what to do or how to fight demons. D:
