This was a great story; it has me smiling, and a little sad all at the same time. And your characterization? Excellent! I could totally "see" this whole set of scenes in my head and all the players were spot on (well, I kinda have to assume with Matt - since we didn't get to see that much of him before... *draws a finger across throat and makes the traditional neck-slicing sound*).

And the bit about Lisa changing the way Dean feels when he smells fire...just...*melts a little*. I am not a big Dean/Lisa person, but I have always appreciated the ways that she worked for him; getting in past his armor and defensiveness and making him listen and see thing that even his brother has a hard time communicating with him.

This made me laugh. The thought of Sam running around -pissing on everything and licking his junk. *grins*

But it is also pretty cool. I think making lemonade out of lemons is a pretty good idea.
