Sam and Dean make for awesome parents. I wonder what's going to happen when Cas is a teenager and won't let himself be distracted from his powers by talk of bicycles...

Poor boys. No matter how hard they try, they never do seem to be able to get the 'normal' they want so much.

Best line ever: "You know, kid, if this was a movie, all this would be done during a montage. It would be fast, painless, and full of cute moments, like you accidentally peeing on me,” said Dean as he paced the floor with the infant."

Perfect. <3

I liked all of the elements with regard to baby!Cas/reborn!Cas you chose to address in this story. The equal fears of spiraling into domesticity and also the factors that might disallow that interact really well in this fic. Good job!

Thank you - narrowing the story down was the hardest part.

I like Sam and Dean parenting. This was really great. I'd love a sequel! *hint, hint*

Thanks - I'd love to write a sequel but the chances of me getting around to it are pretty slim. I'd be happy for anyone to take the fic as a starting point and run with it. :)

“You know what creeps me out about the book?” asked Sam, grimacing as Cas caught and pulled hard on a hank of hair. “The old lady whispering hush, her relationship to Bunny is never quite defined.

Dean shrugged. “I don’t know. Bunny’s room is pretty fly..."

Hahahaha! I love that book, but your take on it is really funny. Might Dean meet a nice single mom through Cas's school?

Thanks - I read the book every night to my son and could probably write a whole story about the things that creep me out in it. :)

Oh, I love this! :DDD Thank you so much! I put that prompt in there on a bit of a whim, thinking it was something I'd love to see but didn't really expect anyone to want to write, but, oh, you did, and it was glorious. Sam-and-Dean as parents is one of my favourite tropes, and add to it baby Cas, and I'm sold. You win. :D

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to work with such an enjoyable and charming prompt. I had so much fun writing the story - narrowing it down was the hardest part.
