Everyone knows that beta-readers are like angels sent from up above to make sure that most of our typos and plot issues don't go by unnoticed. Therefore, we at spn_s1_ficathon have decided to give authors the opportunity to either A) request a beta reader for their story or B) submit their willingness to beta for someone else.

Beta Reader up for grabs!

1) I'm Xtine, xtinethepirate and my email addy is pirate_savvy@hotmail.com

2) I will not beta het fic, nor fic that slashes the boys with John. (Don't know if that really applies to this comm, but I thought I would throw it out there.)I like gen fic and slash too (consensual preferred.. but hey, I'm flexible.)

3) Depending on when the fic is submitted to me (due to papers and exams) as well as the length of the work, I can have it done in a day or up to a week (week and a half if I get it during exams). Hey, I did Alby's 24-page monster in 5 hours, heh. *cracks knuckles* Hit me with it.

4) I am the usual beta for albydarned and have also done betaing in the Star Wars fandom for a total of four years. My grammar skillz are prolly my best asset as I major in English and Editing at university, but I can look at character voice and plot pacing, etc. ^^
