Yeah, this installment is a bit of a punch to the gut isn't it? We've had a huge response on Tumblr to this rendition of grief and all I can say is that it is written from experience and from the heart. Loss of a loved one is something that nothing can ever prepare you for... it was interesting narratively to use the different characters to depict all the elements of despondency, hopelessness, denial, anger and temporary insanity that results from it...

Thanks muchly! We didn't want to use Meg in a cliché way, and we hope we haven't ongoing. There are reasons we kept her alive, fer shure! Sorry about the (naughty!) cliffhanger... but we have to keep y'all coming back somehow!

I'm going to go through the rest of my day in a daze. Thanks for that. Wonderfully written, as always, both of you. So much to love- Sam, "solid" Bobby, pragmatic Mira- and Meg. Oh, that's a fantastic job with her character!
Please tell me the next update is within 24 hrs, because I don't think I can take more of the wait. God, this hasn't been me since the Potter books...

Hey bb! Meg will feature ongoing, and tho we are conscious of the fact this isn't really her story we hope we've used her in an interesting way that can help advance the plot and also shed insight into the other characters as well as her.

Next part posts Thursday and the final installment goes up Sunday. So not long to go and omg it will be over. I can't believe it. What will I do with my free time?
