Just have to say that one of the aspects I've really been enjoying about this (and there are so many to enjoy) is the realistic way in which you approach the characters' trauma. I do wish sometimes the show itself would touch more on the incontrovertible fact that the Brothers Winchester have PTSD, at least beyond the not-quite-subtext of Dean's alcoholism and Sam's "hallucinations" (which I think were wrapped up in a somewhat trite fashion, but hey, it's fantasy, modern or not). I have to appreciate the sensitivity with which you've been handling it - this isn't just the cheap hurt/comfort of neurotypical fans writing angst for the sake of angst, but an educated view of what it's like to be a survivor. It's heartrending to read but I appreciate it being treated with legitimacy and respect. Thank you.
