Yes, technically. It can sound weird either way, depending on how you pronounce it in your head. I suppose either option would work.

of course I didn't think about it before I posted the ready header, but maybe the easiest way out would be to just change it to "the spn party?" ;)

it's 'an' because it's pronounced "Es Pee En" but if you said "Supernatural" it would be 'a'

Acronyms can be pronounced letter by letter (ATM) or as a word (NASA). When I write "SPN," I'm saying "Supernatural," so it could be "a Supernatural Party."

That's what I do, too. I never knew people said it as "S-p-n". I just say it as Supernatural. That's why I found it odd to say "an spn_party" and not "a spn_party", but whatev.
