MOD APPLICATIONS
Due to unfortunate personal issues, many members of our staff have had to step down, and so we are now looking for a few more members to bring onto the team. All comm members are welcome to apply, provided they meet the requirements.
Applications will be reviewed by the mod team, and applicants will be contacted by the mod team once all applications have been reviewed. All applications should be submitted by Wednesday, November 28th at midnight in your timezone. The new moderators will be announced at the FFA on Sunday, December 2nd.
You must:
→ Be familiar with the Rules, Spoiler Policy, and FAQs, as well as the general way things have been done around here.
→ Be willing to devote at least five hours a week to the upkeep and maintenance of the community.
→ Be okay with spoilers. Because mods are required to help ensure that spoilers remain only in their designated posts, they will have to deal with random spoilers throughout the course of their job.
→ Have at least basic HTML/LJ formatting skills for making posts.
Your jobs would include:
→ Providing general assistance to members who need help.
→ Making sure all posts have the appropriate tags.
→ General monitoring the comments in posts to make sure the commenting rules are followed.
→ Posting general community posts such as FFA posts, pre-party posts, episode party posts, episode download posts, spoilerfests, convention summaries, etc.
→ Maintaining the moderation queue and making sure what gets posted follows the general posting rules.
→ Participating in various admin meetings to keep everyone on track with the vision of the comm.
