Season 9 Location Finds - 901
My plan through Season 9 is to try to find as many locations as possible and post about them.
I'm not positive about this one, but it looks correct. Jared tweeted during the west coast broadcast that the scenes of the trucker picking up Cas and the scenes of Sam & Bobby walking through the woods were all done "in the GVRD around Mt Seymour". Well I believe, and it only makes sense, that the car crash with Hael and Cas was done there as well.
I found this spot and it looks right based on the trees behind those barriers. It's indeed on the road up to Mt. Seymour.
Jared also tweeted that all the hospital interiors were done in the studio. However, once Dean and Zeke!Sam leave the hospital, they were on location on the UBC campus. Thanks to info. from YVRShoots, I was able to track down they filmed that emotional scene between the Life Sciences Centre and a parking garage. I've marked on the sat. view below approximately where the boys were standing with a red X.
The scene of Dean going to the Impala in the hospital's parking garage and encountering angels was also filmed inside that building to the lower right.
Also thanks to YVRShoots.com, I was able to figure out the laundromat where Cas goes to wash his clothes. It's Nuwest Coin Laundry & Cleaners in New Westminster.
I'm still looking for the gas station where Cas finds Hael. I swear they've used that place before...maybe way back in S1's "Hell House"? I'll have to look into it and update this post if I find it.
