What about series, not individual fics? Where to put them so they're all together?

You can post whole series in any of the themes as long as it fits the theme. We mark it in delicious as 'verses' so to say so whole series posts are welcome! But please do not post every single story in your series Maybe a masterpost to it all? You're allowed three recs per comment

But what if each story doesn't fall into the same theme? Should series be its own theme?

Then if all other series don't fall in one theme I would suggest the other theme we would want to keep the series in one place so I would post it in other. Just remember to put the best suitable tags for your series

Hi!! This project sounds awesome! Thank you for creating it! I'm generally too shy to rec any fic but I do read a lot of hurt!Sam & hurt!Jared so maybe I will get the courage to mention some here!

I have a couple of questions though. Mainly I was wondering if you had any sort of reccing limit? For example if an author is already introduced in the Authors Section we can still put recs of their fics in the other sections? Also, I have several personal favourite authors who have a lot of hurt!sam & hurt!jared stories which I would rec... but can I rec them all or I there is a limit or two or three per author?

No limit what so ever but there is a limit to how many you can put in a comment. Three recs per comment ideally and we encourage to rec as many stories by a particular author as you want but remember try to skim through the comments to see if maybe the story has already been rec'd.

So three recs per comment, try to skim the comments to see if your story or author has already been rec'ed and there is never any limits when it comes to rec'ing :D I hope that answers your question

I was going to rec something but wasn't quite sure if I should put it under physiological trauma or injury, as it's permanent brain injury, so it's not really mental illness per se? Also it starts out wee!chester but they grow up throughout it.

Sorry, me again. :-P 4thejourney May 29 2011, 22:45:54 UTC
Also, what if a physical injury as well as amnesia are both fairly central to the story?

Just put it in the best described theme as you possibly can if you mention that another theme fits the core of the story it'll get tagged that way.

Just out of curiousity, would it be all right if I were to rec an event going on at a certain community? As long as it has to do with hurt!Sam/Jared? And if so, where would I put that?

Hey there...

Thanks so much for asking and I'm very excited about the event that you are talking about! \o/ I'm hoping we'll get lots of great stories (which may end up being linked here *g*)

We would love to pimp it in our newsletter if that suits? We are limiting posts to the comm because we are trying to keep uniform with only Theme posts, the Newsletter and a forthcoming Theme pimp.

Let me know about the newsletter. Our next one is due on the 17th... hope that's not too late. (?)

xx

haha it is awesome that you know what I'm talking about without me even saying it :P That makes me very happy :D The 17th works just fine. The fics are due until August 31 and if last prompt fest is any indication for what's to come this time, that date will be altered numerous times before all fics are actually due :)

Thank you so much for offering to pimp it in the newletter :D And I will definitely be linking the stories here when we get some :D

Hee! I just thought I better check that you mean the prompt fest yeah? (and damn if I didn't mean to get some in!). Though reading through the prompt it looks like you got heaps. :)

If so, let me know where you'd like the pimp linked to. To the prompt post I imagine?
