Title: Children Shouldn't Play With Sharp Things
Author: Kyriebess
Summary: Sam decides to play with one of his brother's things. He was told not to touch it for a reason.
Genre/Pairing: Gen, Sam, Dean, OFC, John
Type of hurt: wee!chester, pre-series, stabbed, hurt!Sam, hospitalized Sam, blood loss
Why are you rec'ing this story? This is a little heart breaking tale of Sam touching what's he's not supposed to and getting hurt in the process. I really love how childlike Sam is in this.
Anything else we should know? Much blood loss on a young Sam with freaking out Dean. So if blood grosses you out a little you might not want to read.

Title: A Mountain Odyssey
Author: sammygirl1963
Summary: What happens when John takes his two very young sons on a hunt and is attacked and severely hurt by a wendigo?
Genre/Pairing: Gen
Type of hurt: emotional trauma
Why are you rec'ing this story? This story shows John in a different light, unlike alot of stories who show John as a bastard this one show John as a caring and doting father that only wants to protect his kids plus the family moments are the cutest in this.
Anything else we should know? Sam nor Dean doesn't get hurt in this. It's more an emotional toll than anything. This is also a story of how they met Joshua.
