Fic: Ghosts that We Knew (Tessa)
Title: Ghosts that We Knew
The Ladies: Tessa
Reason: Like most the ladies of SPN, Tessa doesn't get enough love. I know there's not much occasion to see this particular reaper, but she's been entertaining every time she's on screen. One of my favorite things about her is her ability to subtly cut through the bull, whether it's about the nature of life and death, angels and the Apocalypse, etc. I also always felt she had a unique relationship with Dean. He actually took the time to talk to her. I tried to capture that relationship, and that part of her, in this story, so hopefully, other fans of Tessa will enjoy this.

When Tessa goes after one of her own, she discovers that the rogue reaper has set up an ancient spell to create life where there is none. She finds herself lost in the human world, lost but not alone. One of the souls in her charge, the one who always managed to get away, is close by, which is good, because Dean Winchester is the only person she knows who can help her now.
