Greetings, Earthlings!
Welcome to the spn-in-space challenge!
As you might expect, this is a fanworks challenge created with the intention of inspiring people to write about our favorite Supernatural characters…in SPACE!
There are no limits to where you can go with this one. Supernatural set hundreds of years in the future on a space station? Awesome! Castiel is actually an alien from a distant planet? Go for it! Jared and Jensen get married and honeymoon on the moon? \o/ A group of hunters meets the crew of the Enterprise? Yes please!
SPN/RPF, crossovers, fusions, whatever your heart desires. As long as it features something happening in the Great Beyond, you can't go wrong!

Rules
* The minimum requirements for fanworks:
Fanfiction - 1500 words
Artwork (drawings, paintings, digital work, manip, etc) - one fully completed piece
Fanvid - 30 seconds
Icons - at least 10
Podfics (permission must be obtained from the original author if it's not your story) - 5 minutes
Fanmix - 5 songs and a cover
(If the fanwork you want to create is not listed here, please send a message and we'll let you know.)
* Gen, het, and slash are all welcome
* Crossovers and fusions are allowed, as long as a main character is someone who has appeared in at least one episode of Supernatural
* Fanwork should not be posted publicly anywhere at all until its scheduled posting date
* Stories must be completed at the time of posting. WIPs may be completed and used as long as they have not previously been shared publicly
* Sequels to existing stories are allowed as long as the new story can stand on its own as well
* It probably goes without saying, but the most important rule: Space MUST play some kind of role in your fanwork. ;)

November 5 - Sign-ups open
November 19 - Sign-ups close
December 20 - Drafts are due
December 21 - Posting schedule goes up
January 1 - Posting begins
