Yeah, so... I was supposed to do a lot of things this weekend--one of which was pinch hit for "Bloody Mary," and another of which was to write the bible entry for "Skin." Well, as you can see, "Bloody Mary" is only partially done, and "Skin" is nowhere to be seen, and you know what? It's 1:00 in the morning and I have to be up at five, so I'm posting what I gots now, and will fill in the blanks int he next couple of days, when I get a chance to watch it closely again.
I'm sorry, gals--we'll get back on track soon. Especially since we now have a date for the beginning of season two to shoot for here. YAY!
Night all!

What Time Is It?
While we're given no specific time period or date, it's obvious during the school year, so sometime between Jess's death in November and the end of May. Thought the whole thing is wampus, given that the trees all still have leaves... but later episodes are clearly in the wintertime. *shrug* It's part of the lost time of Supernatural
Now, Which One Was That?
Dean and Sam travel to Toledo, Ohio, to investigate a death that might mean that, here, Bloody Mary is a whole lot more than a children's game.
All the Niggling Little Details
- The exchange between Sam and Dean when Dean wakes Sam from his nightmare in the car indicates that Sam's nightmares are constant now.
- Once again, Dean is the one who connects with the young child. Sam starts the conversation, but Dean's the one who tries to make Lily see that her dad's death wasn't her fault.
- Jill is apparently our stereotypical horror movie victim for tonight, what with the walking around in her underwear and such.
- Sam is obviously exhausted enough now to fall asleep during research, as evidenced by his little nap.
- This is the first episode where we see the videocamera... and it's obviously Sam's first time using it, since he asked Dean how to turn on the nightvision.
- Kristie Marsden and Jensen Ackles just missed each other, filmically speaking: Kristie was in the Dark Angel first season episode "Flush." Jensen had a recurring role as first Ben, then Alec in the second season.
- Charlie is holed up in their hotel room for the duration of the ghosthunting. Wasn't anyone worried about exactly what she'd find if she overcame her fear enough to poke around?

Sacrificed on the Altar of Whoops!
- Watch Jill and her reflection when she's dying. Specifically, watch Jill's hair, not her reflection's. The side on which her part is changes during the scene.
- BIGGEST PLOT HOLE YET: Charlie told Sam and Dean about her boyfriend who killed himself. Making that very much NOT a secret anymore. Ergo, she's off the hook and we all go out for cappucinos.
