Welcome to The Supernatural Guidebook!
Hello, and welcome! I have searched LJ for a complete list of SPN comms, and there isn't one. Most of the lists are partial, outdated, or only list certain types of comms (such as a fanfic community list). So, I have decided to make one, and this is it.
Yes, that's right, when this list is done, it will be a COMPLETE list of all the Supernatural and Supernatural-related communities on LJ.
I'm doing this for a few reasons. First, so that fans of Supernatural can find communities that they're interested in. Second, so new communities have a place to advertise. And third, so that existing communities can find other communities to affiliate with.
The Master List will be sorted two ways. The Pairing/Character Master List wil be all of the communities sorted by their pairings and characters or lack thereof. The Topic Master List will be sorted by the type of community. Both lists will have the EXACT same communities, so no need to fret. This is just for convenience. That way you can look up Dean/Sam first if you just want a wincest community, or you can look up icons first, if you just want an icon community.
I'm including any community about Supernatural including any of the characters, actors, pairings, fanfiction, icons, videos, fanart, discussion groups, role-plays, contests, crossovers, and anything and everything else you can think of. (You have a community dedicated to Sam/River fanart? I want it. You have a community that only allows Layla fanfiction? I want that, too. You have a community that rarely puts up Jensen Ackles icons? Pass it my way!)
Also, I am only including communities as long as the moderators give me permission and link back to spn_guidebook in their user info page (either under affiliates or not, whichever you mods prefer). So, if you have a Supernatural community and would like me to include it in the list, please reply to this post and let me know. I will check to make sure that you've linked to spn_guidebook on your user info page, and as long as you have, I will put your community up.
