Notes: Although this is a WIP, each chapter is planned to be fairly self-contained, as with most episodes of the show. The prologue contains a tiny bit of Henry/Millie, and this first chapter has some of Sam/OFC around the edges, filling the same function as Sam/Jess did on the show. Moving forward there will be less romance than there was in the show, at least for the equivalent of s1-3--and since we're talking a separate 'book' for each season, that's going to be many, many individual chapters that will qualify as fully "gen". However, if people don't think it's appropriate to the purpose of this comm, I won't post updates past this initial announcement. (Please do let me know! I don't want to be the jerk who moves into a comm and winds up annoying the existing crew there by spamming them with something that's only tangential to why they subscribed to the comm in the first place.)
Prologue: All Is Not Lost - In October 1958, Henry Winchester and Josie Sands investigated a haunting in Beardstown, Illinois, and everything went smoothly. A few weeks later, they prepare for their initiation.
Chapter 1: This New World - In October 2005, Sam Winchester's made a big-city life for himself with his girlfriend in Boston, Massachusetts. The night before Halloween, the life he'd left behind in Lebanon, Kansas breaks into his apartment, in need of a shave and help tracking down their father.
