1.) Whenever Dean gets angry with Sam for talking to Ruby, Sam justifies his relationship with her by saying he's just "using her." How true do you think this is? Do you think Sam really is ruthless and will dispose of Ruby once she finishes being "useful" to him? Or is he tolerating her simply because she doesn't seem to be too evil (compared to other demons he's come across)? Or something else?

Using her doesn't automatically mean he'll "dispose of" her when she's no longer useful. I don't believe Sam has really thought ahead that far. He didn't shower her in holy water initially because she said she could help save Dean. Sam is willing to do just about anything to achieve that. He thinks he can use her without being used by her.

2.) Do you think Ruby and Bela's storylines will ever cross paths? What do you think (or hope) will happen if the girls come across each other?

Hot angry lesbian sex! Okay, I'm kidding. Well...sorta. Uh...what was the question?

3.) Compared to Ruby and Bela, Bobby has hardly been in season 3. What do you imagine he's been spending his time doing? Working his own cases? Researching methods that can possibly be used to save Dean? Or something else?

I haven't actually added up moments of screen time, but I don't think that's true. Bobby's been in season three a lot. Which is good. I love Bobby. (Although, honestly, I want more eps like season one and fewer regular characters.)

Has he been researching ways to save Dean? I think not, because my impression is Bobby doesn't believe it can be done. He's a practical guy: if he doesn't believe what he's looking for exists, then he won't look for it.

4.) How did you interpret the last few seconds of "Dream A Little Dream Of Me"? Did you think it was just Dean reminding himself what'll happen if he doesn't find a way out of his deal? Do you think the writers were trying to foreshadow the future? Or something else?

Oh, I think that moment is bothering Dean a lot. That's got to be his worst fear ever, and if he tries to stop it from happening to him he'll be killing Sam. Man, he's in Hell already, isn't he?

5.) In "Dream A Little Dream Of Me", Bobby thinks Sam might've tapped into his psychic powers. If Sam does get his powers back, do you think it'll be good or bad for Sam? Will it cause him to be like season 2!Sam, who believed the powers, among other things, meant he was destined to be "evil"? Will he be sensible and believe the powers are simply a part of him, whether he's good or evil? Or something else?

Sam never lost his powers. I think what happened is when he "won the contest" he got control of them. And, since Sam doesn't want to be psychic, he's not. Except he is. There have been subtle moments throughout this season of Sam using powers the other psycic kids had: control over demons like Ava when he forced Ruby to admit what she was; super-strength like Jake when he decapitated Gordon (go Sammy!); his power in the dreamscape was a lot like Andy's powers. And so on.

When he figures it out...honestly, the place Sam is in right now, I think he'll see it as just another tool he can use. I don't think he's much worried about "good vs evil" anymore. It's "us vs them" for him now.

Ohh, I like that explanation...
