1.) January 24th was Dean Winchester's birthday! How do you think Sam and Dean celebrated (or didn't) Dean's last (unless Sam saves him) birthday?: Knowing Dean, he would've wanted to have it done the traditional way. Sam would've bought a cake, put 29 candles on it (or just get a 2 and a 9 for candles) along with some ice cream. Beer would've been involved along with a, I don't know, strip club, maybe?

2.) Why do you think John told Dean about the world of the supernatural when Dean was just a kid, but didn't bother to tell Sam?: Because Dean was there when his Mom died, so he kind of knew something was up, whereas Sam never experienced that.

3.) In "Bloody Mary", Sam's eyes bled because he kept his dreams about Jessica dying to himself. Dean's eyes bleed, too! Do you think the series has already revealed what Dean was guilty for? Or do you think we've yet to find out why Dean's eyes bled?: If it has already been revealed, then I am so disappointed. I really don't think it has been revealed because I'm guessing it's something big ( ... )

I'd think it'd be too bittersweet. They might have gone out drinking, and one or both drank a little too much. I'd think since it was getting closer to the end they'd both have a hard time celebrating.

2.) Why do you think John told Dean about the world of the supernatural when Dean was just a kid, but didn't bother to tell Sam?
I think he might have known Sam was different already, so he wanted to protect him the best he can. Knowledge is power, so maybe he wanted to keep the knowledge away from him to keep him safe? Dean needed to be in on the secret to help John protect Sam.

I would love to know how the boys celebrate birthdays. Kripke, please take note!

2.) Why do you think John told Dean about the world of the supernatural when Dean was just a kid, but didn't bother to tell Sam?

John didn't exactly "tell Dean, did he? Dean witnessed it. He saw what happened to Mary and I'm betting even at four years old he knew that wasn't natural. It was probably the lesser of two evils for John to keep Dean informed, though I'll bet even then John tried to shield Dean from the worst of it ( ... )

I'd like to think that they TRIED to celebrate Dean's *last* birthday, with beer and cake and candles, but with the end of Dean's year coming closer and closer, celebrating Dean's birthday may be too bittersweet. What's the point of celebrating someone becoming a year older if, in a few months, they're supposed to die?

2. Why do you think John told Dean about the world of the supernatural when Dean was just a kid, but didn't bother to tell Sam?
Dean was four when his mother died & I don't know if he actually saw Mary on the ceiling, but if he did, I think Dean would know that what he saw wasn't natural. If he didn't see Mary on the ceiling, I think Dean would have noticed something was going on, whether it be because John was researching supernatural things, or because they were moving around a lot, or whatever. Dean's pretty perceptive ( ... )
