The Week 40 Friday Five;
1. The boys have always had an unconventional childhood, but what do you think other hunters experienced growing up? How do you think som of the younger hunters like Jo and Ash got along with regular children when they were younger?
2. If you had to ship one slash pairing other than Wincest, what would it be?
3. Suppose

Well, Jo mentioned that she tried going to college, and she felt like a freak with a knife collection, so I highly doubt it. In my mind, most hunters (Sam being the rare exception) stick out like sore thumbs. They're the types that everyone just raises an eyebrow at, not quite sure why this person is so out-of-place and awkward socially. I don't think it's possible to get along with other kids when they're talking about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, and you know deep down the real "stories" are the ones about the monster under your bed.
2. If you had to ship one slash pairing other than Wincest, what would it be?
Just to make this perfectly clear, you couldn't torture me into slashing Wincest. And this show honestly doesn't lend itself that well to slash pairings. Every time they meet a guy he's either a wimp, older or the same age as their dad, or completely insane. So... no. No slash for me.
3. Suppose you have the opportunity to write one email to Sam and Dean. What would you say?
Ohhhhh, God. Everything I think of is something dirty about being possessed, and Dean "going deep" to find the demon.
Seriously, any email I sent those characters would really creep them out. Not because I would be dirty and weird, as stated above. But because I would know too much about them. I'd be trying to counsel Dean with his grief and self-esteem issues. And I'd be urging Sam to be more self-aware when it comes to his anger in an attempt to reign in whatever changes have taken place within his soul. And then they would think I was some sort of demon who was spying on them, and they would freak the fuck out. *rolls eyes* Those silly boys.
4. If you had to choose for either Sam to never turn evil or for Dean to live, which would you choose?
Dude. Not cool. Don't make me choose that. If Sam turned irreversibly evil, Dean would either have to put him down or someone else would without Dean's consent. There are a lot of other hunters out there, and Dean can't stop them all if they found out. And I really don't think Dean would want to live if something happened to Sam. He's made that pretty clear. So... I choose for Sam to never turn evil. Because one of them has to be left to carry on, and Dean wouldn't if something happened to Sam. *sighs* That's a freaking HARD choice to make, and I really hope it doesn't go that way for either of them.
5. What kind of student do you imagine Dean was when he was in high school, grade-wise and attitude-wise? Did he slack off and not do his work? Did he do well in everything effortlessly? Was he a straight-A student?
C student. All the way. Probably even making Ds and Fs regularly, too. I think he was smart enough to make Bs, but he didn't want to. Didn't care enough. I think it's hard for him to put any kind of stock in "book learnin'." He believes that none of it matters in the long run when stacked next to the fact that there are ghosts and demons and long-legged beasties out there ready to tear you to pieces. So I think he was sitting in front of his homework assignment, itching to be somewhere else. Either on a hunt or in some girl's pants. :p
