The Week 40 Friday Five;
1. The boys have always had an unconventional childhood, but what do you think other hunters experienced growing up? How do you think som of the younger hunters like Jo and Ash got along with regular children when they were younger?

I imagine Ash had a relatively normal upbringing, maybe with an overprotective mother who made him feel the need to rebel later in life. I could see him being the smart, shy kid in class. I don't remember much about Jo's backstory, but if she grew up around the Roadhouse she probably didn't have much experience interacting with people her age.
2. If you had to ship one slash pairing other than Wincest, what would it be?
Hmm. I don't know. I'm not the shipper-type!
3. Suppose you have the opportunity to write one email to Sam and Dean. What would you say?
If you're ever in Utah and need a place to stay, give me a call.
4. If you had to choose for either Sam to never turn evil or for Dean to live, which would you choose?
Dean to live. I'd actually enjoy more evil!Sam. Death is a little more permanent than evilness. Dean could always find a way to turn Sam back, but I don't know how Sam could save Dean from death without sacrificing himself.
5. What kind of student do you imagine Dean was when he was in high school, grade-wise and attitude-wise? Did he slack off and not do his work? Did he do well in everything effortlessly? Was he a straight-A student?
He's definitely a smart, naturally talented guy and could have done well. Still, I think he'd be more of the slacker type just because he knew that nothing he was learning really mattered, at least in his life. I think most of his teachers would be frustrated with his sarcasm and lack of focus, but I doubt John would put much effort into getting Dean to change his ways.
