I love the idea that Ruby might have actually cared for Sam. Mostly because I fell for her game 100%, lol, and I hate to be played but love writing the same. This was lovely. Thanks for writing

Thank you! I actually feel pretty strongly that I am not fanwanking the fact that she loved him, in her twisted way. I consider this piece to be both fanfic and argument ;)

This is great. I've been bouncing back and forth between "Ruby's a bad influence!" and "Ruby's really in love with Sam!" all season, and I love the way you make it seem so obvious and natural that she's both.

Damn, I rarely read Ruby-centric stories, but this was awesome. I love your insight into her motivations, and the ending...ouch.
