Summary: - AU. Jensen Ackles has just witnessed a murder. However, he doesn't know why the man was killed, and can't be of any help in that sense because he is completely deaf, and didn't hear anything about it. Jared Padalecki is the officer assigned to protecting him now that the killers have marked him as their next hit. Will Jared be able to do his job and keep Jensen safe? Or will Jensen have to pay the ultimate price?
I'm recommending this because: - I thought that over all this story was really sweet and really well done. My only criticism of it when I read it was that what they were supposedly signing is not how it would be done if they were actually using ASL because it would take too long but for someone not familiar with the language and grammatical structure of ASL they did their best. I understand why it had to be written that way, to make the story flow, and really be able to get the emotions across which could have been disastrous because so much sign language relies on the facial expressions that go along with the signs. An all around beautiful job and a really interesting and amazing idea!

I'm explaining this horribly which is why I'm not a writer... It's almost like it's very own movie that these actors have been cast in... just read it... I promise it's really good!
