And the one person you love the most doesn’t find you as important
None of their happiest memories include you, only running away from you.
When you’re tired and are at the end of your rope and all seems lost.
All that’s left is taking a chance, like the angel in a beige trench coat keeps telling you to.
‘Prayer, last ditch effort of a dying man’
Only to be smacked in the face with a ‘back off’
There is nothing left, but to throw it all away… starting with the amulet.
