Lisa: Okay. Okay, but you also want to be there. I get it. You're
white-knuckling it living like this. Like what you are is some bad,
awful thing. But you're not. But I'm not going to have this discussion
every time you leave. And this is... this is just going to keep

The title of the episode refers to the TV sitcom of the same name starring Charlie Sheen (well at least when this episode was aired!) and
Jon Cryer. The sitcom shoots on the Warner Brothers lot, not far from the Supernatural writers' offices.

A reference to the movie '3 Men and a Baby' starring Steve Guttenberg, in which 3 bachelors have to raise a baby.
Sam: You've got a whole Dr. Huxtable vibe coming off of you. You're like... father material.
A reference to Bill Cosby's character in the TV sitcom 'The Cosby Show'.
The name of the security system company includes "Harper", another
reference to the series "Two And A Half Men" where Charlie Sheen plays a
character named Charlie Harper and Jon Cryer plays Alan Harper.

The X-Men are a team of mutant superheroes. They were previously referenced in 5x06 I Believe The Children Are Our Future.
The brand of paste/gel Sam grabs for the baby at the supermarket is called Boudreaux's Butt Paste.
Bobby John's name is a combination of John Winchester's and Bobby
Singer's first names. Considering how Bobby is seen as a father figure
after John's death, it is possible that Sam and Dean were both trying to
name him after their "father."
Samuel Campbell gave the baby Bobby John to Christian Campbell to raise with his wife, Arlene. Mitch Pileggi's wife name is Arlene Warren. She was stand-in in The X-Files of Scully, and she played Skinner's Assistant 'Arlene'(Her name was mentioned in 9X18 Sunshine Days), an FBI agent who looks like Scully in 7X20 Fight Club.
