I just tried to describe this episode to my best friend (who was drunk the first time we watched it and can't remember the finer details.)
the scene in the field and the scene with Mary in the kitchen both kill me and make me want to hug Dean. (He wuvs hugs!)

And, honestly, maybe it's just a guys and their moms thing, but I ADORE IT when Dean goes and tries to make everything OK with his mother. I guess as wee!Dean... 5-ish? IDK. But, Good Lord, it will make you cry. Dean has to always fix things. It's in his nature to try and fix everything, keep family together and such. He tried to be the glue for it all. *cries and wibbles off soap box*
