Drafts Due: Monday, September 5 @ 11:59 pm (in your corner of the world)

- Most importantly, as we are asked often, proxy claims ARE allowed :) Be sure to include the fanartist's name in the claiming template.
- Authors, artists, audio workers, etc., can choose to collaborate on one piece - just state that you are doing so in the claims post. Only one of you needs to claim your film!
- Only one claim per person. If you're working with another person, you cannot claim another film to do by yourself during the initial claiming post. Once the initial claiming post closes, we'll open a second round claiming so you can choose another film if you think you can handle it!
- Each film can only be chosen once per medium (fic, art, audio, etc.), so be fast! Remember that original films and their remakes count as one film - claiming "Rear Window" also claims "Disturbia," and you are free to use things found in either to incorporate into your fanwork. Films that are part of a series, however, are counted as individual films and fanworks should stay confined to the particular claimed film (i.e. Author A claims The Lord of the Rings, but cannot reference any other films in this series, and Author B claims Return of the King, but cannot reference other films either).

Please note that each claim must be made in a new comment (for clarification, each claim refers to the group of three films; you do not need to make a new comment for each new film)! If you're claiming a film for a friend as well as yourself, they must go in separate comments. If you make multiple claims in one comment, only the first (available) will be counted - we want to keep this as fair as possible!
Once you've posted, have a little patience, and the mod will come by and confirm your film choice (with precedence going to the first available film you've listed, so make sure you list your film choices in the order you'd most like to do them in). If by some stroke of misfortune all three of your film choices have already been claimed, the mod will let you know and then you can make a new claim with three new films -- please do so in a new comment.
As films are claimed, the mods will make a list at the top of the post of the claimed films in the three categories: fic, art, and audio. Please look at the comments if you come in a little late though, as the post may not be completely up-to-date depending on the time.
Remember that choices are final. Please do not ask for a film change at a later date!
Please also be patient with us modly mods as we have tried to plan this claiming to the best of our availability, yet something could always come up. I promise that claims made will be honored in the order they are made on the post. If there are issues with spam comments, we will manage them as they arise.
