This was such an engaging ride! After that prologue it was basically impossible to stop reading. And I'm so intrigued by how this case (or hit, really, from the perspective of the monster) warped and wended itself around S7 canon--from Bobby's death to Sam and Lucifer. It's so interesting to me that one of the reasons Sam and Dean didn't both get killed right then and there was, in a way, actually because of Lucifer. His admission that the shifter was by someone's design other than his own (terrifying move, though, shifter!) ultimately helped Sam distinguish what he needed to do--even as it's advice/assistance from Lucifer. Really thinky, complex situations all around. I really enjoyed reading this! Thank you so much for writing and sharing. :)
Oh my gosh I am horrible! I apologise for getting back to you so late! But gosh, reading your feedback put such a huge smile on my face! You have no idea what this means to me! Thank you so much! :D I'm so so glad you enjoyed reading!
Woohoo, I finally got to read it! Really love the idea of this shifter working his way through the list of hunters -- and at the end, taking the form of the one thing Sam fears most. Thank heaven Sam figured it out in time. \o/ Thanks again for choosing my prompt! ♥
Thank you for your lovely feedback and putting up with me! (Omg i am so sorry for getting back to you so late.) I loved loved loved working with you! <3
Wonderful! I loved the twists and turns of the casefic and how you linked that to a previous case involving hunters, and then how the shifter used the image of Lucifer to further torture Sam's fragile mind.
This had a great 'old school' vibe, with mentions of John and his journal. Very well done. Thank you for sharing :)
