"Whatcha got there?" asked Dean.
Sam glanced from the huge pumpkin held under his arm to his brother and raised an eyebrow. "A pumpkin," he replied in a dry tone.
Dean rolled his eyes. "Yeah, but what're you doing with it?"
Mary glided in. "Ooh, can't wait to carve up that bad boy."
Dean chuckled, his stomach growling at the thought of his mom's famous pie.
Mary waited until Dean was gone. "Did you get the rest?" she whispered.
Sam handed over a tin of pumpkin mix and a pre-baked pie case.
"Old family recipe," Mary explained with a wink.
