Summary: Sam tries to listen to theBritain/EU news, Dean has his own take on it.
Sam was trying to listen to the news about Britain leaving the EU, despite Dean’s huffing and grumbling.
“Dude, put some music on right-the-fuck now,” Dean growled.
“Just let me listen til the end of the friggin’ report,” Sam retorted.
“I don’t get it,” Dean sighed.
“I just want…”
“Nah, not you wanting to listen to the news, you huge geek; I don’t get Britain jumping ship.”
“You’ve been listening?”
“Yeah, kind of.” Dean shrugged, as usual playing down his intelligence. “Seems to me the EU’s a big fuckin’ ship that’s got outta control and instead of grabbing the captain by the balls and making him steer straight, Britain’s jumped in the life raft.”
“That’s a pretty accurate description!” Sam was impressed.
“Yeah, but now they’re up shit creek without a paddle,” Dean summarized, adding “and if you don’t turn the fuckin’ news off now, that’s where you’ll be, geek-boy.”
