Sam assumes the first one they find is a joke, tucked underneath a coffee mug drying on the dishrack.
“Very funny, Dean.”
Dean just shrugs. He didn’t hide it. They don’t find the second one until after it’s hatched. The thing that comes out is a mess of matted fur and long talons that leave Sam with a nasty gash across one arm and Dean limping. Dean reloads and mutters something about wrascally wabbits that Sam does not appreciate nearly as much as he should.
Out of sheer desperation, they call Cas.
“What’d you know about killing an Easter Bunny?”
