This may or may not be inspired by my disgust at the current political situation here in the States. I leave it to you to decide :)

Summary: Dean never seems to be able to do anything he actually wants. Fortunately, there may be a solution to this problem.
“Oh man, I cannot fucking wait for this!”
“Dude, I know.”
“I keep driving through Arizona, but do I ever get a chance to see the Grand Canyon? No!”
“Dude. I. Know.”
“It's time, Sammy! Time for me to finally cross something off the old bucket list! Time for---what the hell?”
The Impala's low rumble quieted as Dean gently brought the car to a stop. A sign stood in the middle of the road on white and red pickets. It read, “due to the government shutdown, the Grand Canyon is closed to all visitors. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Silence reigned in the car. Even the radio blasting “Highway to Hell” somehow faded into the background.
Then, Dean took a breath. “Sam?”
“Yeah?”
“I think it's time we go hunting some politicians. They've gotta be possessed.”
“Good idea. Next stop, DC?”
“Hell yeah.”
