Team YEK Drabble: D.I.Y. Furniture A-Z
It occurred to me that I'm not really pulling my weight with this whole drabble challenge. So here's... one drabble.
Dean swore as he broke a fingernail when he tried to remove the nail he'd accidentally mispositioned.
Dean grumbled as he waited for the putty to dry in all the misaligned holes.
Dean grunted as he finished sanding down the sides of his project. He set down his cork block, picked up a finer grade piece of emery paper and started over.
Dean hummed as he swiped his brush over the perfectly sanded surfaces.
"What is that?" Sam asked when Dean showed him his masterpiece.
"An aquarium stand."
"Why?"
Dean pushed aside his copy of D.I.Y. Furniture A-Z. "No reason."
