I think my favorite is a crossover I wrote a few years ago, called 'Eat it Twilight'

It was a Supernatural/Criminal Minds crossover set in early s5.

It was for a crossover big bang and I wanted to write a fic that had one of the Winchesters arrested for killing some supernatural creature and then to see how competent cops and/or federal agents would deal with him. Not to mention the outside pov of the cops on the Winchesters and their lives.

I managed to get a really good artist and as of now, it's still on of my most commented upon fics.

My second fave oddly enough is one I've only posted on the kink meme and I know I should still rework it a bit to get it betaed and posted elsewhere. But well... somehow it never seems to come to it.

For those who might have heard of it, it was called 'The Farmer and his cow' and let's just say that if it does ever end up on my lj, I'm not sure I'd leave it open, or post a link to it anywhere other than on some really hardcore coms.

oops sorry

Eat it Twilight
Summary: The BAU has to deal with a serial killer who believes he's hunting vampires. The unsub's name, Dean Winchester.(rated G)

The second one well... be warned this is extremely dark and beware the warnings because this gets very bad before things get better, also includes evil Jared

Putting this behind a spoilercut, because I do mean it when I say this is dark.

Farmer and his cowWarnings for non-con, extreme underage, severe distressing behavior from adults to children, child abuse, sexual child slavery, prostrate milking

Your SPN/CM crossover is among my favourites. It's probably half the reason why I like those two shows together so much more than SPN with other cop shows.

What a fun idea! And I even have a fic that works with the lighter side this com celebrates!

Of course, asking a writer for their favorite story is like asking a mom which is her favorite child!

This is the first long (5000 words) story I wrote in fanfic. It is about Sam turning 8, and I was intending to write a montage of Sam's birthdays. Instead, this was my first experience of the characters dictating to me what they wanted to say, with my job merely to type what they said, so I will say it's a favorite in that the writing of it was an intoxicating (and addictive) experience :)

Looking forward to seeing everyone else's favorite!

I loved that one, John getting home for Sam's birthday - the best present of all. Stories can be funny that way - characters develop their own very distinct and bossy voices sometimes!

I've seen 'I borrowed your Chapstick' rec'd a few times but for some reason never read it.
I have now, and loved it. Very sweet, funny and in character.
Do Not Resuscitate was also fun!

I think my favorite was my second. The first I wrote as WIP, with no real knowledge of the fandom, my first ever story of any sort and it was terrifying. By the end there were a few people who had stuck with me and I'd got used to them and looked forward to their comments.

I wrote my second fic as WIP too. It's long and it explores some dark themes. During the course of it, I got to know a whole slew of people who now turn up on my LJ regularly and I cemented some of those early comment-conversations into firm friendships and great partnerships. So, I feel like 'The Unsuitable Slave' http://anniespinkhouse.livejournal.com/14923.html did an awful lot to enrich my life and fandom. (as with your previous writer, the warnings need to be heeded on it.)

Oh man, borgmama1of5 is right, this is a little bit like trying to pick your favourite kid. If I had kids and actually liked them.

I think my favourite one, for fully sentimental reasons, is Sweet Child of Mine. It was the first multi-chaptered fic that I have ever ever finished, and that's including other fandoms and original writing. I don't like finishing things aparently. But I finished this one, and it kind of started something for me, really.I met a lot of the people on my friends list through this story and it was kind of what finally threw me into the community completely, so it'll always hold a special place. It's definitely not sunshine and puppies though (although there is a puppy ( ... )

Spent my afternoon reading this. What a story--the characterizations of the characters in the show are spot-on perfect, but you wove them into a horrifying real-life situation...and this story is going to be hard to forget.
